Marilyn May

Marilyn Ann (Resley) May passed peacefully with her family at her bedside on September 29, 2015 at the age of 92. She leaves behind her six children Christy (Victor) Alibrandi, Cindy (Neil) Arnberger, John (Vicki) May, Bruce (Linda) May, Amy (Len) Everette and David (Tammy) May, 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John D. May. Marilyn was born in Akron OH. A graduate of Saint Vincent High School, she was a devoted fan of LeBron James. In addition to being a loving mother, she volunteered with many civic organizations and had a brief career as a real estate agent. She and John D traveled extensively. In retirement they lived in Hilton Head, SC before moving back to the Akron area. For the last three years Marilyn was a resident of the Inn at CoalRidge, in Wadsworth, where she was very appreciative of the staff and care she received. She will be missed by all who loved her. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11am Friday October 2, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Copley OH. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Hospice of Medina County or the Leo and Margaret Walter Scholarship Fund at St Vincent- St Mary HS Akron, OH.
