Marilyn Graci-Bohling passed away on December 10, 2023. She was born on October 3, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to Anthony Chudick and Theresa (Vegh) Chudick. Marilyn graduated from St. Vincent High School in 1955 and attended the University of Akron and graduated Hammel Actual Business College and then worked for attorney Bernie Rosen. She was also employed in 1967 as an administrative assistant with the Akron Vulcans minor league professional football team in the Continental Football League.
The majority of Marilyn's business career was with Johnson Properties, owner/franchisor of the Ritz Carlton Hotels, based in Atlanta, Georgia. She rose to the position of Vice President of Design where she led Ritz Carlton decorating projects for new hotels world-wide, as well as re-design of existing hotels. She retired from this exciting and fulfilling career in 2004.
She was member of St. Sebastian Parish, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of The Legion of Mary.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia and daughter Alison who earned her PhD from Columbia University.
She is survived by her brother Ernie Chudick, nephew Michael Chudick and many cousins and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Avenue in Akron, where friends may call from 10 - 11 a.m.
