Marie Caliri

Marie Edna Caliri 75 of Akron died September 24 2008 at Hospice Care Center. She was born on April 25 1933 and has resided in Akron all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Edna Caliri. Marie is survived by her brother Albert; and cousin Patrick (Jackie) Thompson. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews especially Myrna Johnson Petrina and Bernard Patterson (who chose her to be their aunt); special friends Barbara Patterson Loretta (Ron) Starck Mary Lou (Jim) Massey Sarah Lorei Lorraine (Dick) Gresock who helped her through difficult times; also Linda Marrow Pat Myers Nancy Mondozzi Mary Kay (Tom) Castner Merilyn Deitle Cathy Cline Leeann Matea Dolores Sweet Anne Frey and Dolores (Myron) Zuder. Marie worked at Prudential Insurance Company ordinary agency for 40 years. She attended St. Sebastian and St. Vincent schools Akron University and the Hammel Actual Business College. Marie was a kind and giving person who loved and was loved by all who met her. Her angelic spirit has made each of us a better person by her joyful life. She loved her family and friends music bowling traveling good food and a good joke. Mass of Christian Burial Friday September 26 2008 11:00 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Procession will form at the church. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. Thursday from 4-6 PM.
