VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Maria Kungl 81 of Castle Rock Colorado died May 6 2006. Maria was born on September 8 1924 in Nasicka Breznica Croatia. Maria came to Akron in 1952 from Eizenerz Austria and in 1987 moved to Colorado Springs Colorado. She retired from McNeil Machine Company in 1982. Maria was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and its choir. She worked at St. Vincent Church for 17 years. Maria was preceded in death by her parents George and Rosa Kungl and sister Anna Katalinic. She is survived by her daughter Erika (William) Hoffman of Castle Rock Colorado; 3 grandchildren: Michael Hoffman of Colorado; Michelle (Loren) Hessenflow of Colorado; and Wendy (Drew) Leopold of Florida. Four great grandchildren: Dalton and Shelby Hessenflow; and Keldon and Mason Leopold. Sister Theresa Vucetic of Hamilton Ontario; brothers Fritz (Rose) Kungl of Wadsworth Ohio Martin (Wilma) Kungl of Akron Ohio; and ten beloved nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 12 2006 10:00 AM at Christ The King Church 1584 Creighton Avenue Akron Ohio. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery Akron Ohio. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron on Thursday May 11 2006 from 5:00-8:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
