VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Margaret J. Zurek 85 of Akron (formerly of Euclid) died December 24 2005. Margaret was born on August 10 1920 in Akron OH. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband Bernard Zurek; parents Mary (Kraus) & Emil Krill; brothers Carl Bill and Albert; sisters Olive Evans Molly Semonin and Harriet Rambacher as well as infant sisters Tess Betty and Joanne. She is survived by daughters Pat (Bob) Crabtree of Silver Lake Peg (Steve) Cory of Richfield Mary (Jack) Rood of Fairlawn; sister Mercedes (Richard) Kemper of Canton; Sister-in-law Angie Zaremba of Garfield Heights; Grandchildren Todd (Anita) Cory Julie (Shad) Ross Laura (Dave) Slaugenhoup Kristen Cory Ann Crabtree Chuck Crabtree Beth Crabtree Michael Crabtree Tim Rood Meg Rood and Tess Rood; Great Grandchildren Jacob Cory and Todd Ross Grace and Sam Cory. The family will remember her for her love and for her patience and seemingly endless gratitude for the care she needed in the face of an increasingly debilitating illness. They ask that you offer your prayers for her as that is the only gift she ever asked for. May she rest in peace. Although it may not always have been recognized we think God used Mom as He does all good mothers to keep her loved ones on the path to sainthood. The family is grateful to God for her presence in their lives. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday December 29 2005 11:00 AM at St. Bernards Church 44 University Avenue. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron on Wednesday December 28 2005 from 3-7 PM. Memorial donations may be made to favorite charity.
