Margaret Hlinka

Margaret B. Hlinka (nee Gulasy) of Hudson fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday December 29 2011 at Laurel Lake Community in Hudson. Margaret was born September 20 1919 and was preceded in death by her parents Stefan and Margaret (nee Bakos) Gulasy; sister Elenore (Matuska) brother Joseph beloved husband John and cherished daughter Margaret C. Hlinka. She is survived by two nephews Edward Gulasy of Atlanta GA and Rich Gulasy of Davenport IA. Her family and friends offer their greatest appreciation and thanks to the administration and staff of Laurel Lake who cared for her and for John during their years at the facility. Margaret was a member of Saint Herman of Alaska Eastern Orthodox Church in Hudson and will be missed by her church family. In addition to her role as loving wife and mother Margaret also managed careers as a retail buyer for Bonwit Teller and Higbees department stores as well as an investment banker in the financial industry. Calling hours will from 6-7PM and Trisagion Memorial at 7PM on Monday January 2nd 2011 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange Akron 44304. Funeral service at Hummel starting at 9:00am Tuesday January 3rd 2012 with interment at Lakeview Cemetery 12316 Euclid Avenue Cleveland 44106. In lieu of flowers friends may make donations in her memory to Saint Herman's at PO Box 907 Hudson OH 44236.
