Margaret Cole

Margaret Patricia Cole (Mough) 75 passed away peacefully Tuesday April 3 2012 at Akron City Hospital. Peggy was born July 25 1936 in Akron to the late Harry and Catherine Mough. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents brothers James David William John and sister Judith. She is survived by her husband Arthur M. Cole of Bath sisters Mrs. Charles Strigle (Barbara) and Mrs. Charles Mays (Joanne) brother Gerald Mough many nieces and nephews and good friends Bob and Linda Carter. Peggy was a 1954 graduate of Copley high school. She worked for many years as an executive secretary with Southern Pacific Railroad. Peggy and Art lived in the San Francisco area for many years and later returned to Akron in 1999. Peggy was known for having a 'green thumb.' She loved gardening and helping others with back yard planting projects. She also enjoyed bowling making caramels at Christmas time and animals especially her dog Dolly. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday April 9 2012 11 AM at Guardian Angels Parish 1676 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. Copley OH 44321. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington DC 20090-6011.
