Margaret R. Bartlebaugh (Ziga) 91 passed away on January 10 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born in Crucible PA as one of twelve children and she lived most of her life in Akron. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Samuel; her daughter Cynthia; and her parents Joseph Sr. and Rose Ziga. Margaret was a dedicated mother and grandmother emphasizing God and family. She is survived by her loving children Thomas (Karen) Timothy (Susan) Robert (Geri) John (Tracie) and James (Susan); grandchildren Thomas II Nicole Kristen Ashley Heather Becky Tim Laura Angie Amy Matthew Alexis Beau Hollie Natalie Meghan Kerri and Allie; great-grandchildren; Tommy III Sidney Brooke Macee Malynn Julianne sister-in-law Dorothy Ziga; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a devout member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church for over 50 years. She was a dedicated member of the Legion of Mary Mother of Sorrows and Dominican Associate of Our Lady of the Elms. Margaret taught grade school children to make rosaries. She made thousands of rosaries for the sick in local hospitals and missionaries around the world. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday January 15 2011 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave Akron. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St Akron on Friday evening from 4-8 PM. Margaret's family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to St. Sebastian School- library fund; 476 Mull Ave Akron OH 44320; or Walsh Jesuit High School-Nelson Gorbach Music Fund 4550 Wyoga Lake Rd Cuyahoga Falls OH 44224.
