Mae Hicks

Mae Natoli Hicks September 26, 1925 - February 14, 2016 Mae Hicks, 90, died February 14, 2016. She was born at home in Urichsville, Ohio. Mae was preceded three weeks in death by husband, Virgil Carl, and earlier by parents Maria Costa Natoli and Ignazio Natoli and seven siblings. She leaves behind children Linda (Rich) Rucker, Douglas Hicks and Pamela (Patrick) Hickey and brother James Natoli. She was beloved 'Nana' to grandchildren Denise, Stacy, Paula, Rick, Heidi, Kristine, Michael, Brittany Rucker, Sophie, and Graham Hicks, Patrick, Thomas and David Hickey and 18 great grand children. Mae worked as a bookkeeper at Patterson Hardware. She served as secretary at Messiah Lutheran Church for 25 years. Mae was devoted to her role as wife and mother, happiest in the garden, growing and cultivating food for her family. She reigned supreme in her kitchen.
