Mack McLean

Mack McLean 72 of Copley passed away peacefully on Sunday June 26 2011. Mack was born in Denver CO to the late Jack and Mara McLean. At 10 years old Mack and his family moved to Akron. During college he joined the army where he was stationed in Thule Greenland. Mack served his country for 4 years and was then honorably discharged. He was a title examiner for 35 years in the real estate industry. Mack had a passion for bowling baseball and football especially his Denver Broncos. Mack is survived by his wife Mary Alice of 42 years son Michael (Leah) granddaughters Sarah and Elizabeth and sister Glee. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 1 2011 11 AM at Akron First Assembly of God 1175 W. Market Street. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. on Thursday June 30 2011 from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to One of a Kind Pets 1929 W. Market St. Akron 44313. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service.
