Dorothy Bartlett, age 89, passed away on December 19, 2015. Daughter of the late Theodore and Emma Watson, she was born in Dover, Ohio on March 13, 1926 and graduated from Dover High School. Dorothy moved to Akron when she married Murray and was a longtime member of St. Sebastian Church. She faithfully volunteered at St. Thomas Hospital for many years and enjoyed traveling and gardening. Preceded in death by her husband, Murray and sister, Norma Jean Wenger; she is survived by her son, James (Lori) Booth; niece, Lisa (Tom) Garbrandt; step-daughters, Janet (Frank) Peters, Mary Jane (Pat) Wood, Peggy Bartlett and Phyllis (David) Hilkert; 10 step-grandchildren; 15 step-great grandchildren and dear friend, Clara Mae Clark. The family would like to thank all the aides, nurses, and staff at The Merriman, Anna's Home Health Care, and Summa at Home Hospice for all of their loving care of Dorothy. They are especially grateful to Millie Haboush who loved and cared for her with such compassion. A memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church (476 Mull Ave. Akron, Ohio 44320), where friends may call one hour prior to Mass.
