Lucille Lloyd, 99, passed away on November 13, 2016. She was born and raised in Akron on December 20, 1916. She graduated from North High School in 1934 and married Jack, the love of her life, in 1937. She lived in Copley from 1950 to 2013 and retired from Akron Children's Hospital. Lucille was a member of the Copley United Methodist Church. She was a caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Althea Henry; husband, John 'Jack'; sons, John, Tim and sister Delores Gardian. She is survived by sons, William of St. Augustine, Florida and Dennis (Maureen) of Doylestown, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa (Ron) Rowe and Tim (Amanda) Lloyd and nine great grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Andrew, Damon, Braylon, Aiden, Gianna, Teagan and Marina and dear nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staffs of Chambrell at Montrose, where she lived for 13 years, and The Apostolic Christian Home, who provided extraordinary care to Lucille in the last three years. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
