Loretta Penrod

Loretta O. Penrod, age 69 years, of Mogadore (Suffield Twp) passed away December 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Loretta fought a courageous and lengthy battle with multiple cancers. She was born in Pine Creek, Russell Co, VA to Grady and Alice Webb Owens. She was preceded in death by her father, brother Harley of Swords Creek, VA, and granddaughter Katherine McVey of Stow, OH. She is survived by her husband Charles E. Penrod of the home, mother Alice Webb Owens of Cedar Bluff, VA, son Mark (Sherry) Miller of Honaker, VA, son Timothy (Sheila) Miller of Bowling Green, KY, daughter Maggie (Shawn) George of Toledo, OH, son CC (Amanda) Penrod of Mogadore, stepdaughter Paula (Wayne Jr.) of Stow, OH, sister-in-law Frida Owens of Swords Creek, VA, sister-in-law Denise (Dennis) Somerville of Mogadore, Kristol (Gary) Smith of Canal Fulton, and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at a future date, please refer to her Facebook page for that date. Her ashes will be buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore. The family thanks Harbor Light Hospice for their loving care and support, as well as other health care providers.
