Linda Kline

Linda Kaye Kline, age 76, passed away on September 21, 2021, surrounded by her family . She was born in Akron, Ohio to Samuel and Helen (Werbecki) Messina. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 50 years, Paul Kline Jr.; and her brother, Samuel Messina.

She is survived by her daughters, Maria Wagner, Wendi Marino, and Julianne (Eddie) Speedy; grandchildren, Lauren, Jillian, James, and Laney Hockwalt, Mia and Kara Marino, Brock, Kade, and Jace Speedy; nephews, Sam and John Messina; niece Lisa Ricci, and their families; and her beloved cats.

Linda was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She was a devoted mother and Nana to her family and loved watching her grandchildren sporting events. Linda enjoyed playing bingo, card games, and gardening. She was a member of the Red Hats Society of Green and a member of Queen of Heaven Parish. Linda worked as a cashier and price checker at Tops/Finest Grocery Stores. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM at Hummel Funeral Home- Akron, 500 E. Exchange Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Queen of Heaven Parish, 1800 Steese Rd, Uniontown. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd. Akron.
