Lawrence Karg

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Lawrence A. Karg 71 passed away unexpectedly at Akron General Medical Center on December 19th. Bud was a lifetime resident of Akron and was president of Ray Karg and Sons Inc. for over 50 years. He graduated from St. Vincent High School and attended Kent State University. Bud enjoyed collecting classic cars boating and spending winters in Florida. He was a sentimental stubborn man with a great sense of humor. Bud was preceded in death by his devoted wife Cathy on October 4 2005 and his parents Raymond and Emma Karg. He is survived by his loving daughters Lisa (Donovan) Matta-Dorr of Santa Rosa California and Laura Karg of Jensen Beach Florida; stepsons Jim (Kathleen) Kuebler and Francis 'Doonie' Kuebler; grandsons Daniel Karg and Max Kuebler; brother Kenneth (Mary Lou) Karg; sisters Pat (Gene) Champe Nancy (Dick) Maloyan Annette (Chuck) Brady and Janice Tomko of Cottonwood Arizona. He was the favorite uncle to many nephews and nieces. He also leaves special friend and business partner Mike Brunenmeister. Friends may call on Friday December 23 2005 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at St. Sebastian Church 476 Mull Ave. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:00 PM with Fr. William Karg officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Bud's name to One of a Kind Pets at 1699 W.
