Kelly Ann Curtis (Baun), passed away unexpectedly at her home in Copley on June 22, 2020; a day before her birthday. She was 52 years young. Kelly was born on June 23, 1967 at Barberton Citizens Hospital to Jack and Marlene Baun. She was very much so a daddy's girl who was truly inspired by her dad; always following in his footsteps. She was a dedicated and selfless mother, daughter, grandmother, wife, friend and so much more. She lived for her family and made that so evident. She was always checking in, cheering her family on, supporting them, letting them know how proud she was-always expressing her unconditional, unwavering love. She was such a hard worker. Kelly gave her children the world, going without to make sure her kids always had what they needed and wanted. She wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by her family and to have all of her children under one roof. Kelly always went above and beyond for her family, especially around the holidays. She was a firm believer of tradition, and even instilled those traditions with her grandchildren; she was a rockstar grandmother. Kelly also enjoyed hanging out with her friends, having a good time making crafts, having bonfires, going riding (four-wheeling), playing cards, going to concerts and jamming out to her favorite music; especially Aerosmith because she adored Steven Tyler. She also loved cooking, baking, tending to her garden, going on walks, and watching her favorite TV shows and movies. She loved quoting and referencing her favorite movies, and that is something her kids will always remember and smile about. She was a down-to-earth, fun, thoughtful and loving person that loved to laugh. She had a passion for doing things for others; constantly putting everyone else first. She would spread positivity, joy, warmth, and happiness anywhere she went with a smile on her face that was so contagious. She had a very warm demeanor that was felt by many. Her free spirit will continue to live on through those who were closest to her. Kelly was a follower of Christ and attended Grace Church in Norton. She would hope that those reading this will trust in god, who she believed to have all of the answers. "Jesus looked at them intently and said, "humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible." -Matthew 19.26 Kelly is survived by her husband David, daughters Crystal, Ashley (Mark), Melanie (Brandyn), Faith, Angel and son Tristin; grandchildren Claire, Megan, Primrose; dog Bear and many more family and friends. Kelly is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Marlene Baun. Her family can find peace in knowing that she is reunited with those she loved and missed so dearly, along with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Her infectious smile, beautiful soul, and resilient spirit will be deeply missed. We love you mom, to heaven and earth and back again; forever and always. Friends may call on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 12 - 2 PM at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Rd. A private graveside service will take place in Copley Township Cemetery.
