Keith Nine

Keith William Nine, 58, passed away Thursday July 27, 2017. He was born October 23, 1958 in Conneaut, Ohio. He graduated from Conneaut High School in 1977 and the University of Akron in 1981 with an associate degree in Electronics Technology. Keith spent his working life in the printing graphic arts industry, most recently working for R & R Graphics. This partnership quickly became family. Keith enjoyed fishing, woodworking, bowling, watching the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Football. Keith was a member of the Elks and the Craftsman Club. Keith married Christine Bauer on Sept. 27, 1980 and made Akron their home. He took his wife on many joyous vacations, their favorite being Hawaii. Keith was preceded in death by his mother Norma in 2011. He is survived by his wife Christine; daughters and sons-in-law Sarah and Christopher Davis, Rebecca and Sean Ansted; granddaughters Addison and Harper; father William; brother Mark (Chris McShane); sisters Denise (Dick) Wheeler, Tracy (David) Hamelin; sister-in-law Amy Bauer; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 2, 2017, 4-8 pm at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., Akron. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
