Kathryn Young

Kathryn B. Young 78 of Barberton passed away November 2 2008 at home. She was born on October 16 1930 in Barberton. Kathryn married Bill Young in 1948 and for over 60 yrs was a loving and caring wife mother grandmother and great-grandmother. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents William and Leona Obney; daughter Billie K. Young; and brothers Kenneth and Dicky Obney. She is survived by her loving husband Bill; daughters Linda (Jim) Leslie Kathy Covey and Sandra (John) Clark; grandchildren Dan (Heidi) Leslie; Tracy Ricky and Brian Jones and Brett and Brent Methias; Matthew and James Covey and Preston Young Clark and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Services Thursday Nov. 6 2008 at 11:00 AM at Hillside Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel 1025 Canton Rd. Akron OH 44312 with Pastor Dave Scavuzzo officiating. Entombment in Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Wednesday from 5-7 PM.
