Kathryn Mize

Kathryn A. Mize, age 58 of Copley, was called Home April 20, 2023 after a brief illness. Kathy was a very loving daughter, wonderful sister, doting mother and her favorite mispronounced name by her grandchildren "Grandma Ka-tee". Kathy was a graduate of Copley High School, Class of 1982. She was born to the late Dorsey and Mary Crouch.

Kathy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Darrell and her infant son, John; brothers, William and Wayne Crouch. Left to mourn her loss is her son, Andrew (Deanna) Mize of Bradley, IL; granddaughters Katie and Brooklyn Mize and grandson, Joshua Mize; sister, Mary Jane Crouch; brother, Richard Crouch; sister-in-law, Nancy Crouch; nephews Delvin (Elaine) Pickett and Chad Crouch; great niece, Alliya Pickett; great nephews, Bryce and Zachary Pickett and cousin Jean (Ronnie) Fogg.

Kathy was a huge Ohio State, Cleveland Indians and Cavs, and New York Giants fan. She loved spending time with her family and taking pictures of all the priceless moments. Due to her love of taking photos, we can now relive all of those precious memories.

Calling hours will be 5-8pm Monday, April 24, at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio 44321. Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday, April 25, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Copley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries.
