Katerina Gorkavchuk

On August 25 2012 Katerina 'Kat' Gorkavchuk 27 of Medina Ohio was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with Lord after a long journey with cancer. She was born in Lviv Ukraine on February 5 1985. She came over to America at the age of 5 with her family and graduated from Highland High School in '02 and was also a proud alumnus from The Ohio State University. She was in love with life and adored her family Audrey Hepburn Maine cheese collecting passport stamps Jesus Tiffany & Co. her dogs and friends not necessarily in that order. She was a proud member of Grace Church. Her legacy will be carried on by her parents Sergey and Olga Gorkavchuk and her only brother Anton Gorkavchuk. Her life was an inspiration to all those who knew her. She chronicled her journey at www.katyagray.com. As we celebrate her life join us in honoring her by wearing bright colors to her calling hours on Tuesday August 28 2012 from 4-8 pm at Grace Church 754 Ghent Rd Fairlawn OH 44333. Memorial Service will take place at Grace Church on Wednesday August 29 at 10:30 am. Interment immediately following in Granger Fairview Cemetery. Per Kat's wishes in lieu of flowers please make donations to Grace Church and note checks 'For Kat' to be donated to an orphanage in Ukraine she supported.
