Julia M. Scalzo 89 of Akron passed away November 27 2008. Julia was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and John Scalzo and sisters Edith Wassity and Yolonda Derrig. She is survived by her numerous nieces nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Monday December 1 2008 10:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron on Sunday November 30 2008 from 3-5 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church 2603 Benton St. Akron OH 44312.
