Julia Bender

Julia (Ranisov) Bender died April 18 2006 peacefully of natural causes at Doylestown Health Care Center at the age of 85 with her family at her side. Born May 20 1920 Julia was a resident of Copley all her life. Julia's life was dedicated to her family and the family business at Bender's Farm. She worked long hours and had a passion and natural green thumb for growing and cultivating beautiful flowers and vegetable plants for the family business. Preceded in death by her husband Addie Bender in 1966 and infant son Addie Jr. in 1949 four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her daughters Cindy (Don) Richards Marjory (Jeffrey) Marshall and sons Mark (Kim) Bender Kenneth Bender and Richard Bender; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren many sisters brothers nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank everyone who has been part of Julia's life and the staff and friends at Doylestown Health Care Center for their devotion and care. Funeral Services Friday April 21 2006 10:00 AM at Hummel Funeral Home Copley 3475 Copley Road. Interment in Copley Township Cemetery with Rev. Donard Engle and Pastor Dan Young officiating. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home Copley on Thursday from 3-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association American Heart Association or Doylestown Healthcare Center Activities Department.
