Judith (Judy) M. DiFino (née Spangler) passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 18, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Ohio, born in Akron on January 3, 1946, raised in Copley and lived most of her adult life in Suffield. Judy was a woman of many interests and abilities. She was a licensed Cosmetologist, enjoying cutting, coloring and styling hair throughout her lifetime. Though she lost her hearing in her 30's, she attended college and graduated with an Associate's degree in Computer Programming. She also worked at Revco, Ohio Edison and AESCO Electronics over the years. She met and married her life partner, Victor (Vic), in the 1980's. Judy and Vic had been attending the Advent Lutheran Church regularly until she was no longer able. Judy loved family and friends. She was an awesome cook, enjoying holidays, gatherings, including baking, shopping, vacationing at the beach or on the water, boating and even sled riding. On a fun note, when she was at home, she couldn't wait to get to the beach and when she was at the beach, she couldn't wait to get home. What a family - Judy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Vic DiFino; sisters Barbara Jo (Art) Box and Sandy Marble; sisters-in-law Loretta Greenbacher, Donna Sokolow and Sharon Johnston; brothers-in-law Michael and Jimmy DiFino; children Annette Dietrick Soles, Aimee Edwards, Jerry Dietrick, Don Dietrick, Jason DiFino, Raymond DiFino and Tiffany (Rob) Williams; grandchildren Joshua (Amber) Soles, Ericka Soles, Kyle Thomas, Krista (Dominick) Ramos, Jacob Beresh, Samantha and Ryan Dietrick, Courtney, Corey, Calen and Camden Dietrick, Amanda and Jacob DiFino, Maria and Julia DiFino, Sienna, Brayden and Madison Williams; great-grandchildren Indica and Obie Soles, Jullian, Evann and Kyle Thomas, and Rykeer Ramos. Other close family members include Sherri (Larry) Pearce, Lois (Preston) Stewart, Richard (Nikki) Hetrick, Arthur (Euna) Hetrick, Wayne (Lisa) Philpott, Sandi Birch, Shari (Joe) Krunich, Karen (Jerry) Hayes, Cindy (Larry) Nelson, Patricia Messenger, Maura (Dennis) Dismuke, James (Lynn) Messenger, Paul (Erika) Messenger, Samuel Messenger, Kirk (Susan) Stemple and Zane (Lu) Stemple. From the previous paragraph you can tell that family meant everything to Judy. Friends have always been a big part of her life too and she will be dearly missed by her best-friends Pat and Don Hovorka and Claire Dahm as well as many others. She was preceded in death by Don and Lola Spangler, Sam and Ann Mohawk, Jim Ashworth, Jim Ashworth, Jr., Carl DiFino, Joey DiFino and Jamie Soles as well as many other loved ones. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Advent Lutheran Church, 1516 Edison St. NW, Hartville, Ohio on Saturday, November 30th beginning at 11a.
