Juanita Klein

Juanita Klein, age 94, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2017. She was born on January 12, 1923 in Akron to the late Jose and Leonie Regueiro. She worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber, retiring after many years of service. As a retiree, she enjoyed the Wingfoot Girls Club and playing bingo with the retiree's club. Nita was also involved with Mobile Meals, AARP and the Firestone Park Primetimers. She was active with her grandchildren and known to many as 'Granny'. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Donald, Jr. and her brothers and sisters; she is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Thomas) McDonough; grandchildren, Brad Klein, Angela (Bryan) Krieger and Olivia Mandala; great grandson, Maxwell; daughter-in-law, Karen Klein and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday 4-7pm at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio 44304. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223. Interment at a later date.
