Joyce Mercurio

Joyce L. Mercurio, age 75, passed away on December 4, 2019. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, she graduated from Charlotte High School. Joyce was known for her kind giving heart. If you met Joyce once you would have a friend for life. She spent her years as a home healthcare aide, which was a perfect fit for her caring heart. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a devoted daughter and mother. Joyce was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and would never miss a game on T.V. She loved animals, especially her cat, Fiona. Her kind soul will be missed. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alice Mercurio; she is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Rich) Morrison; grandchildren, Alicia, Payton and Kayla Morrison and great grandchildren, Natalie and Gabriela. She also leaves many other family and lifelong friends. A memorial service will be held on 6:00pm Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd. Lakemore, Ohio, where friends may call from 5:00pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Summa Akron City Palliative Care.
