Joyce Bastel

May 30, 1935 — August 23, 2016

Joyce M. Bastel, 81 of Medina, passed away Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016. Joyce retired from NASA after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Bastel. She is survived her daughters Joyce Ferner, Marlene (Tim) Podgis, Carolyn (Abel) Solis, Vikki Angelo and Tiffany (Bruce) Ballow; step-children Carl (Patty) Bastel, Gretchen (Greg) Hinkle and Erich Bastel. Joyce had 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A private service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
