Josephine Lanzarotta

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Josephine A. Lanzarotta 92 passed away December 1 2006. Josephine was born February 15 1914 in Akron OH. She was a graduate of St. Vincent High School. Josephine retired from The General Tire & Rubber Company. She was a long-time member of Annunciation Catholic Church St. Anne's Guild Reservoir Park Senior Center DSWC Euchre Club Wedgewood Senior Center and a past member of Akron Women's City Club. Josephine was the matriarch of her family and loved to be with her family friends and enjoyed playing cards. Preceded in death by her parents Sam and Lena Lanzarotta; brothers Joseph (Marcy) and Frank (Mary). Josephine is survived by her nieces and nephews Sam (Jean) Lanzarotta Linda Lanzarotta Antoinette (John) Cundiff Rosemary (David) Wright Sam (Carol) Lanzarotta Joe (Carol) Lanzarotta Maryann (Marty) Murphy; many great nieces and nephews and many close friends. Many thanks to her caregivers Geri Dee Joanne and Brenda and the wonderful staff at Hospice of Summa. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday December 7 2006 10:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church 87 Broad St. Akron OH 44305. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
