Joseph Lanzarotta

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Joseph S. Lanzarotta 88 of Uniontown died March 11 2005. Joseph was a truck driver for O'Neil's for 42 years. He graduated from St. Vincent High School. He was a member at St. Matthews for 43 years and Dr. Roach Outdoor League of Alliance for 40 years. Joseph enjoyed boating fishing camping cards pool mystery trips simple family gatherings and N.D. sports especially football. He was proud of kids grandkids and great-grandchildren and cared deeply about each of them. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Marcelena; parents Lena & Sam Lanzarotta brother and sister-in-law Frank (Mary). He is survived by sons Sam (Jean) of Jacksonville Joe (Carol) of Uniontown; daughter Linda of Atlanta; sister Josephine of Akron; sister-in-law Elona Oetjen; grandchildren Cindy Tom David Shari Patti Keith Danny Jessica; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed for his strong dedication to family and his quiet strength. He was a dedicated hardworking family man. He was tired and frustrated with more and more daily struggles. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday March 17 2005 10:00 AM at St. Matthews Church 2603 Benton Street. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery with Williamson; Fr. G. Michael officiating.
