Joseph Horinger

Joseph Paul Horinger 9/27/60 - 6/17/14 Joe was born in Akron Ohio to the late Edward and Rose (Boxler) Horinger. He was one of nine children, the youngest boy. He wished for a little brother but instead he got 3 more sisters. Joe graduated from East High School and worked as a painter full time and a golfer part time (so he thought). He loved life and his family and it showed. Joe was taken from us way to soon. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, and the most amazing grandfather anyone could ask for. He was always smiling and he spread happiness to everyone around him. He will be missed more than words can say by his loving wife Juli Mains-Horinger. His sons Joe (Jenny) and Brandon (Amber). His grandchildren, the loves of his life, Leelyn, Joey, Lily, and Sophia. 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Father-in-law Dick Mains, his wife Brenda and Juli's brothers and sister along with many nieces and nephews. Life is short so live it to the fullest. LIVE well LAUGH often LOVE much A funeral service will be held Monday, June, 23, 2014 at 4PM at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. where the family will receive friends from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, OH 44304.
