Joseph Herbert

Joseph John Herbert passed away May 18, 2018. He is survived by loving wife Kathleen Herbert; son Doctors Joseph (Lisa) Herbert; daughter Bonnie (Bill) Hanan; stepchildren Charles (Colleen), Michael (Kristen), Doctor William (Diane) Hamad, Doctor Christina (Ryan) Abbey; grandchildren Jacob & Jackson Herbert, Simon, Fiona, Luke, Lucy, Layla, Zachary Hamad, Ava & Finley Abbey; sister Caroline (David) Kopowski. Joe was beloved grandfather who was loved by many nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 23, 2018, 6-8pm at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd., Copley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday May 24, 2018 at 9:30 am at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Akron. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Right to Life of NE Ohio or American Diabetes Association of Akron.
