Joseph Healy

Joseph Thomas Healy, 76, passed away Thursday February 11, 2016. He was born on November 20, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA. Tom graduated from St. Sebastian, St. Vincent High School in 1957 and the University of Akron. Tom had worked for Bridgestone Firestone for 30 years and Polaris Career Center for 15 years. He was a member of the Army National Guard. Tom was preceded in death by parents Thomas J. and Mary Louise (Dunn) Healy. He is survived by wife Carol; children Anthony and David; grandchildren Mason and Ian; sister Mary Frances Custer and nephew Eric (Cynthia) Wyles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 19, 1:00 pm at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. A celebration of his life will be held at Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls on Friday 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice.
