Jonathan Koosed

Jon was born Nov. 25, 1966 in Akron, Ohio and passed away June 1, 2017. He graduated from Western Reserve Academy and Kent State University. He mastered the art of acceptance with grace and dignity while living with MS for 31 years. His intelligence, sense of humor and caring about other people were his essence and made him much loved by those who knew him. He was an avid sports fan and muscle car lover. During an MS remission, he owned and drove a 2003 Mustang. Music soothed his soul. He leaves behind parents Dr. Edward and Barbara Koosed of Akron; children Evan and Jenna Koosed and former wife Susan Cooper of Kansas City, KA; siblings Joel Koosed of Richmond, CA, Diane Koosed (Scott Lake) of Portland, OR, Marla Koosed (Billy Childers) of Austin TX, Todd Hunter of Akron and Judi Snyder (Wally) also of Akron; four nieces and a nephew; 3 grand nieces and 2 grand nephews and 2 aunts. There will be no services per Jon's request. Donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
