Howard', age 86, went to his eternal Heavenly home on April 29, 2017. He was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on January 21, 1931 and was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Zacharias, father, John Zacharias and brother, Donald Zacharias. He is survived by his REM-Ohio Mentor and foster family, Rhonda Tafoya, Jeremy Tafoya, Jessica Kuhns-Tafoya aka 'Sissy' and her babies, Ms. Wanda Tracy and all who were blessed to have been touched by his life. Howard resided in Tallmadge, Ohio since 1988, and retired from Weaver Industries in 2001. He enjoyed attending Hope Homes Adult Day Program, was a faithful member and usher of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Wadsworth, loved music, shopping, dining out, traveling, Western movies and dogs. Cremation has taken place. Family will welcome guests for a memorial and Celebration of Life service on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00 am, Pastor Linden Orr officiating at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 745 S. Medina Line Road, Wadsworth (corner of Ridgewood and S. Medina Line Roads). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church.
