John (Jack) F. Wilchenski was born on August 7 1944 and died on August 27 2010. He leaves his sister Jeannette Siebenthal and his other siblings: Jeanne Jayne Donna Joyce Shirley Michael and Randy; also nieces Patty Avenmarg and Kathy Siebenthal. He also leaves 3 grand nieces; 3 great grand nieces; and a great grand nephew. His parents and paternal grandparents who raised him have preceded him in death. Jack spent his early years in Brady Lake OH. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in nearby Kent. He traveled to Arizona and has lived in Buffalo and Rochester NY. Jack retired after 25 years of service with the Episcopal Church Home where he worked in the kitchen and utility areas. He has had various jobs however one of his favorite was at Barney's which was across the street from Kent State University in the 60's. In 2002 he moved to Aurora to live with his sister; then moved to Akron where he has lived for the remainder of his life. Although he was a simple man he will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. It was Jack's wish that there would be no calling hours or services. We will remember him as he was: a guy with a big heart who made our lives happier.
