John Roysdon Sr.

Mr. John M. Roysdon Sr., a lifelong resident of Copley, Ohio age 85, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023 surrounded by his family.

John is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Myrna Roysdon. John is also survived by his son, John (Lynn) Roysdon Jr; grandchildren, Monica (Ryan) Andrick, and Kyle (Jessica) Roysdon; along with 4 wonderful great grandchildren,; brother-in-laws, Rich Bartoe, Sonny (Joyce), and Bob (Kathy). John was preceded in death by parents, Herman and Ella Bell Roysdon; brother, Herman Jr; sisters, Hazel (Peggy) Snider, and Jean Bartoe; daughter, Kristine; and great granddaughter, Ava Kristine.

John loved to play golf on sunny days and spread the word of God on all days as a proud member of Calvary Baptist Church.

A funeral will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Road, Copley. Visitation will be from 10 am till the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Copley Cemetery.
