John Nischt

John Nischt, 65, passed away on May 16, 2023 peacefully at home, surrounded by family. He courageously battled cancer for more than a decade.

John was born in Akron, OH to Anton and Ingeborg Nischt. He was an alumni of Copley High School and The University of Akron, where in 1977 he joined the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After graduation John started his company Akron Business Forms which he operated for more than 40 years. In January of 1993 John met Janet, and after a brief courtship they were married. They were happily married for 29 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister Patty. He is survived by his devoted wife, Janet; daughters, Shannon (Dustin) Baldasare, Tricia (Jonathan) Nischt, and son Tony Nischt; grandchildren, Makayla, Brooklyn, Bailey, Virginia, and Eloise; siblings Dolores Stanfield and Werner Nischt; along with other family and many friends. John also leaves behind his loyal German Shepherd, Blitz.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
