He was born November 12, 1942 to John Milan and Ruby (Lurry) Bailey.

John was preceded in death by parents, John Milan and Ruby Bailey; sis, Yvonne Milan; son, Vernon McCalister.

He leaves to mourn his children, Victor (Nazaree) Milan, Vaughn (Melissa) McCalister, Vincente McCalister, and Vernard McCalister; grandchildren, Porschea and Jade Milan; great grandchildren, Kassidy Milan, Austin Hightower; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have taken place.
