VIEW MEMORIAL TRIBUTEJerome 'Jere' F. Dannemiller passed away on Saturday April 25th after a brief illness. He was born on July 28th 1964 and lived in Akron and most recently Fairlawn OH. Jere attended Weaver School was an honorary graduate of St. Vincent - St. Mary High School and worked at the Bath Center Workshop for the past twenty years. Preceded in death by his mother Evelyn A. Dannemiller Jere is survived by his father Thomas E. Sr. and leaves brothers Lawrence J. (Kathy) of Houston TX Thomas E. Jr. of Key Biscayne FL sisters Rosemarie Smoral (Steve) of Solon OH Katie of Greensboro NC Linda of Irvine CA nephews Patrick and Matthew Smoral niece Lauren Dannemiller and many loving aunts uncles and cousins. Jere was active in the community. He attended St. Sebastian's church and participated in the CYO Summer Camp and Respite Programs. He enjoyed swimming and was an avid sports fan attending Cavs Indians and Zips games. Jere also enjoyed traveling especially his annual spring trip to Florida. The family would like to thank Jere's extended family and support network including the Bath Workshop Blick Clinic CYO ARC of Summit and Portage Counties the Summit County MRDD Board and staff and Jere's medical and nursing staff. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday April 30 2009 11:00 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to CYO MRDD or ARC.
