Jennie Ciliberto Murphy passed away peacefully after a short illness August 10 2006 on her 91st birthday with family by her side. Jennie was born and raised in Buffalo NY and was preceded in death by her husband John Cameron Murphy parents Joseph and Petrina Baudo Ciliberto sister Josephine Pace and brothers Joseph Vincent Leonard and Matthew Ciliberto. Jennie is survived by her stepson Thomas P. Murphy of Lecanto FL and his children Karin Kanter and Thomas P. Murphy Jr. also of FL; nieces Barbara (Raven) Wolf of Palm Bay FL Carol Privitera of Buffalo NY and nephew John (Lorette) Pace of Buffalo; great nieces Bernadette Lorigo and Danielle Paterek both of Lancaster NY and great nephew Jarrett Pace of Buffalo; great nieces Leslie (Roy) Riddle of Silver Lake OH Bridget (Tim) Tyler of Lakewood OH; nieces Gretchen Schmock Jones of Atlanta GA and Ann Patricia Rice of Fort Wayne IN along with many other loving Ciliberto-Murphy great and great-great nieces nephews and granchildren. Jennie enjoyed a successful career as a secretary before moving to Stow OH in 1976 and working side by side with her husband John to establish the Frontier Trailer Company in Richfield. After retiring she enjoyed golf bowling and playing cards with her dearest friend Rita Dunlevy and their many friends. Jennie was a member of the St. Eugene Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society and the Silver Lake Chapter of AARP. Mass of Christian Burial Monday August 14 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue. Funeral procession will form at church. Inurnment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Jennie's family invites her many friends to celebrate her life and friendship during calling hours on Sunday from 5 - 8 PM at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a favorite charity in Jennie's memory.
