Jeffrey Hudgins

Jeffrey W. Hudgins passed away peacefully on March 23, 2014 from lung cancer. He is survived by his partner of 15 years Chris Robinson, mother Opal, children David and Susan (fiancé Terry Whitsell) and granddaughter Kaleela. Jeff lived a wonderful life; full of joy and laughter. His love of antiques was surpassed only by the love he had for his family. In the words of his partner: 'He was one cool dude'. A funeral service will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:45 a.m. at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange Street, Akron, OH 44304 with calling hours from 9:45 until service time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hudgins family at 564 Marview Ave., Akron, OH 44310 to be put towards a scholarship in Jeff's name.
