Jeanne Schario

Jeanne Marie Schario (63) passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She was born June 16, 1951 to Kathleen and Bernard Schario of Canton. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1970. Her great love of God and joy in life were most beautifully expressed in her singing, especially in church choir. Her sweet gentle heart was always open to those around her. Jeanne attended Westminster Presbyterian Church. Before the disease overtook her, she volunteered at St. Paul Episcopal Church and Manor Care Nursing home in Akron. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Kathleen Schario of Canton. She is survived by her family: David Schario of Cleveland; Greg (Monica) Schario of Clayton, NC; Christopher Schario of Auburn, ME; Suzanne (Jerry) Egan and Mary Beth Schario, of Akron; Lisa Robinson of Dallas, TX, Connie (Tim) Machan of University Heights, BJ (Mark) Kelly of Mount Vernon, and Jeff (Julie) Swartz of Northport, FL. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews will miss Jeanne and fondly remember the sweetness, strength, and grace that defined her. The family would like to recognize the kind and loving care their sister received while in Akron General Visiting Nurse Hospice. An especially heartfelt thank you to Barb, her visiting nurse.
