Jeanette Kish

Our dear mother and grandmother, Jeanette 'Jan' A. Kish, 84, passed away on September 12, 2015. She was born to the late Eleanor and William Nichols on November 20, 1930 in Akron. Jan loved art, hot air ballooning and gardening. Preceded in death by her husbands, Alton Foreman, Jesse Kish and Kenneth Glinsek and sister, Barbara Jackson; she is survived by daughters, Deborah (Ken) Bovey, Diane Whitsell, Denise Foreman, Dru Kranshan and Julie (David Aberth) Kish; son, Tony (Kelly) Kish; best friend, Diane Bailey; brother, Gerald Hyer and 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. One of the many things our mother instilled in all of us was to be good and kind to others. 'Mommy, you will be deeply missed.' Memorial service will be 5:00 pm Friday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, where friends may visit one hour prior to service.
