Jean Gray

Jean Gray age 90 of Copley passed away peacefully on Saturday November 10 2012. Jean was born in Indiana Pennsylvania to the late Morris and Mary Bowser. When Jean was 35 she and her beloved husband Bill and family moved to the Copley area where they continue to reside. Jean retired from Copley School District after serving over 20 years working in the cafeterias. She was also the loving owner and companion of her cat Tizzy for over 15 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill parents brother Robert Bowser grandson Wayne Hennemann granddaughter Carrie Anne Gray and great great grandson Dylan Byrens. Jean is survived by her children Sandy (John) William (Cathy) James (Bonnie) Gray and Cindy (Bud) Miller sister-in-law Louise Bowser; 13 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren 9 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews and friends. The family would like thank Copley Fire Department and VNS Hospice as well as extend their love and gratitude to the Copley Health Care Center where Jean resided for three years receiving wonderful love and care. A graveside service will take place on Thursday November 15 2012 11 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Park 2580 Romig Rd. Akron 44320. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Copley Fire Department 1540 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. Copley 44321.
