Janice Oldham Davis died peacefully Saturday September 22 2012. Janice was born on September 16 1924 in Canton Ohio to Muriel and Laurence Oldham and graduated from Canton Lehman High School in 1942. She continued her education at Ohio Northern University where she obtained a degree in Pharmacy. She worked as a pharmacist for much of her career at Akron City Hospital. Janice enjoyed raising a family spending time with her children and grandchildren watching the Cleveland Indians going to the Leesville Lake cottage and reading books especially good murder mysteries. She is survived by her sister Margaret Conroy of Washington D.C; daughter Martha Muehleisen and husband Chris of Akron Ohio; daughter Kathy Davis and husband Willem de Haan of Amsterdam The Netherlands; son John Davis and wife Margaret; and son Joel Davis and wife Elizabeth Marschall of Columbus Ohio; her grandchildren Jessica Cooley and husband Mike Cooley Jessica Muehleisen John Muehleisen Rhys Davis and Elly Davis; and her two great grandchildren Jayna and Hayden Cooley. Friends and family will be celebrating her life on Sunday September 30 2012 at the home of Chris and Martha Muehleisen 1825 Fairlawn Knolls Akron from 2-5 PM.
