Janet Spangler

Janet Spangler nee: King Janet Spangler 65 passed away March 1 2004. She was born in Akron Ohio and lived in Copley Township for 39 years. She graduated from Central High School in 1957. She was a homemaker as well as volunteered at Akron Children's Hospital for many years. Janet enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad. She is survived by her husband of 44 years James; her children Terry (Debbie) of Litchfield Steve (Debbi) of Copley Amy (Jim) Haffner of Colorado Springs; grandchildren Jessica Casey Rose Abbi and Jamie; sisters Ruby Turnbloom of Akron and Jane Bassetti of New Philadelphia; brothers Charles King of Akron and Jesse King of Arizona; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Friday March 5 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hummel Funeral Home (Copley Chapel) 3475 Copley Rd interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park Rev. Franklin Lorenz officiating. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
