Jane Prease

Jane G. Prease 83 of Akron died January 17 2007. Jane was born on April 24 1923 in Angola IN. She was an avid ballroom dancer and bridge player. She was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Jane was a past member of the Saint Thomas Women's Board and Akron Women's City Club. Jane was preceded in death by her mother Isabella Minor and sisters Nancy Minor Joan Heinl and Marjorie Fox. She is survived by her daughter Carol (Vince) Pianalto of PA; sisters Patt (Jim) Sullivan of Cuyahoga Falls Terry (Ed) Kopriver of SC; brothers Richard Minor of Akron Dr. Howard (Virginia) Minor of WA and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Garden of Western Reserve and Hospice of Summa for their compassion and excellent care. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday January 22 2007 at 10 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church 1676 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd. Copley OH. Inurnment in Copley Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Thomas Women's Board or Hospice of Summa both at 444 N. Main St. Akron OH 44398-6153.
