Jane Heston

Jane N. Heston died peacefully July 31 2008. She was born in Salem West Virginia October 8 1918. She graduated from Salem High School and West Virginia University with a degree in Home Economics a subject she taught at West Milford High. She met her future husband Arthur J. Heston while teaching there. They married July 25 1943 in Salem W. Va. and moved to Akron Ohio shortly thereafter. Mrs. Heston was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church from 1950 until her death. She held memberships in the Akron Garden Club Phi Beta Phi Women's Board of Akron General Hospital and Akron Children's Home Board. She was preceded in death by her parents: Etta Jane and Edward M. Nelson; her brother Edward M. Nelson Jr.; and her husband Arthur J. Heston. She is survived by three sons: Edward B. of Charleston S.C. wife Catherine and children Abigail and James; Arthur J. Jr. of Fairview Park Ohio wife Klare and stepson Misha Braja; and David D. of Seattle WA. wife Dana and children Erin Morgan and Meguire; and her sister Martha L. Nelson. A Memorial Service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church 1250 W. Exchange St Akron 44313 on Saturday August 23 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested a donation to Villa Camillus her final residence 10515 East River Road P.O. Box 880 Columbia Station Ohio 44028 in memory of Jane N. Heston.
