James Peters

James L. Peters 78 of Copley died October 21 2008. James was born on January 3 1930 in Dupont OH. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant. James spent most of his life serving God in the church especially the Akron Baptist Temple and the Mansfield Baptist Temple. James was preceded in death by parents Henry and Mary; brother Lloyd and sisters Gladys and Esther. He is survived by son David (Gwen) Peters; grandson Joshua Peters; brother Forest; sister Ruth and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Friday October 24 2008 at 10 AM in the chapel at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 1361 W. Market St. Akron OH with Rev. Mark J. Pruitt officiating. Inurnment in St. Paul's Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Men and Boy's Choir 1361 W. Market St. Akron OH 44313.
