James McDermott

James H. McDermott 86 of Akron died August 22 2005. James was born on October 25 1918 in Akron OH. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 37 years of service. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church and American Legion Post 19. He served in the United States Army during WWII. James was preceded in death by wife Clara. He is survived by his children James T. (Pat) McDermott of Los Angeles CA John L. (Patricia) McDermott of Akron Joseph (Ann) McDermott of Akron; grandchildren Kristy Nicholas Kelly Sean Jeremiah Patrick Casey. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday August 25 2005 10 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron on Wednesday August 24 2005 from 5-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
