James Johnston

James Buel Johnston 83 of Copley passed away June 2 2010 at Hospice of VNS. He was born on August 27 1926 in Hanceville AL but was a long-time resident of Copley. James was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy parents James Wilburn Johnston and Josie (Cone) Johnston and his sister Betty Jean Wheeler. He is survived by daughter Charlene (Donald) Norris; son James (Darlene) Johnston; grandchildren Sherry Daisher Robert (Dana) Norris Todd (Lindsay) Johnston Luke (Lisa) Johnston and Jill (Kerry) Cline; great grandchildren Zachery and Andrew Daisher Emily and Parker Norris Lane Cline and Brooklyn Johnston; and sister Christine Coppedge. He will be sadly missed by many friends and neighbors. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday June 8 at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley RD COPLEY. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Ross Slaughter officiating. Copley VFW Post 7971 and American Legion Post 473 will be assisting with military honors at the cemetery.
